Alun Oliver FRICS, E3 Consulting's Managing Director, was a finalist in the 2007 'The Tax Lecturer of the Year' a prestigous award within the Taxation Awards, run by Lexis Nexis and presented on 24th May 2007.
As a leading expert in capital allowances, land remediation, repairs and landfill tax, Alun is a regular speaker on property taxation. Commenting on his lectures, Alun said "despite these tax allowances having existed for many years there are still many, many businesses that fail to claim them and so pay too much tax. This is generally through lack of awareness, complacency or poor advice. Our seminars help in raising the level of awareness of these valuable tax savings and so encourage tax-payers to claim the relief to which they are entitled."
Building on his fifteen year's of experience, Alun presents at in-house talks, provides lectures to students and practioners. He runs detailed workshops as well as contributing to large property, finance or tax conferences throughout the UK and Europe.
For example in March, Alun gave a Key Note Address at MIPIM, the European property Exhibition and Conference run by Reed MIDEM. Alun also recently spoke at a Property Taxation conference in Budapest.
